Dear ADAS Supporters:

School is about to reopen in the city of Saint Louis du Nord, Haiti. ADAS (Alliance for the Development and Advancement of Saint Louis du Nord) has received letters from two elementary schools who are in dire need of school supplies and financial assistance. ADAS needs your support and would like to remind you that we are currently collecting school supplies for these schools.

During my recent visit to Haiti, I had the opportunity of meeting school leaders in need of our help. While in Haiti, plans were made to help the schools of Saint Louis du Nord with school building renovations, providing student desks - Hurricanes Hannah & Gustave destroyed the ceilings, the doors and desks of these schools, the surroundings.

The leaders of school of Saint Louis du Nord also spoke about the alarming annual drop out rate of students because of the families of Saint Louis du Nord financial difficulties faced by the student families. ADAS will eliminate these patterns by providing those schools with financial and educational aids that will let children have a choice for their future.

We can be the deciding factor for these students. To help these students get a quality education we are looking for any financial and educational contributions, such as books (all subjects and novels), notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, rulers, calculators, etc.
