Alliance for the Development and Advancement of Saint Louis du Nord

Dear Sir/Madam:

Education today is bigger than just the kids in America. We also have the power to change education globally. We must remember the responsibility of educating our children is a shared one. As you may know, there is no durable development in a community without education. Education is essential in keeping kids away from drugs, providing better family and moral values, strengthening knowledge, and inspiring them to a brighter future.

The Alliance for the Development and Advancement of Saint Louis du Nord (ADAS) is a not for profit organization aiding schools with technology, school supplies and funding for Saint Louis du Nord schools. Research has shown that these children are being deeply affected by the deteriorating educational system and overall poor quality of life as residents. Concerned areas of this small town, located in the northwest section of Haiti include: poor quality infrastructure, lack of substantial materials such as notebooks, books, crayons, pens, desk, blackboards, computers and teaching skills.

 ADAS does not want to remain with our arms crossed. The ADAS School Project is working to provide underprivileged students with a better environment, financial aid, and technical assistance to encourage and allow effective learning. An educated society will lead to better politico-economic and social conditions.

Join us in raising the quality of education and, as a result of that success, elevate all children’s quality of life. We are currently focused on planning the construction of the First Saint Louis du Nord Library. This is a tremendous project and we cannot do it alone. Your help is needed to positively impact the lives of these children and let them know that there are people in the world who care.
